This policy explains the cookies and similar storage used on Spyvoo, run by Zedapex Limited, Lagos. We use only what Spyvoo needs to work and to stay secure. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
1. The cookies we use
- sv_s (login). Keeps you logged in. It holds a random session key, never your password. It lasts up to 30 days and is removed when you log out. Without it you can't use your dashboard.
- sv_v (support chat). A random visitor key so the support chat on our website can keep your conversation together and limit abuse. It lasts 90 days and holds no personal details.
- voo_attr (VooSquare partner link). Set only when you arrive through a VooSquare partner link. It keeps that link's codes for up to 60 days so the partner can be credited if you sign up, and is cleared when you log in.
- voo_state (VooSquare login). Set for 10 minutes while you log in with your Voo ID, to make sure the login that comes back is the one you started.
2. Local storage
Spyvoo saves your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage (sv-theme). It never leaves your device.
3. Cookies we do not use
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no cookies that follow you across other websites.
4. Other services
When you pay through Gatevoo or log in with VooSquare, you use their pages, which may set their own essential cookies under their own policies.
5. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block sv_s, you can't stay logged in. Blocking the others does not stop Spyvoo from working.
